Only thing I can really think of is that remote bullets are 1000x better on M&KB haha. You must beat the pasts of all four characters, have the hand grab you before you can get the gun at the end, and complete the sixth chamber. Why M&KB? Normally I'd be all about it, especially for a game like, say, Destiny 2 or Borderlands, but for this game sometimes being able to dodge roll at an angle besides 0, 45, and 90 is SUPER beneficial. Every floor has two chest rooms, one with a gun and one with an item. 8 Extra Chests The most common thing to find in a secret room is another chest. This list can point you in the right direction, but you'll have to uncover the path alone. Also I'd recommend using a mouse and keyboard and getting good with the starting weapons so you don't overly rely on chests. Enter The Gungeon is more than just a dungeon crawler, and has its own history and secrets to unlock. Originally posted by Zerberus:Run around the edge of the room in a big circle, prioritize not taking damage over dealing damage, use blanks if you would get hit after a dodgeroll and dodgeroll if necessary. Again, I like Jamestown, Ikaruga is phenomenal, the Raiden games are all solid, Geometry Wars doesn't really have bullets, but is a twin stick shooter and is amazing, Mushihimesama is SUPER awesome, and is apparently on Steam (but it's $20 right now, if that might be an issue). Most of which I don't recognize, but you could probably find a forum with good suggestions. Put out the fireplace with a water barrel on floor 1, press e in there to reveal the door to the secret area use 2 keys to get there, find the armor piece with the chalice on it in that secret area and bring that to the altar on floor 2 to reveal another secret area. Otherwise, there's a TON of stuff on Steam. These games are SIGNIFICANTLY harder than Gungeon, and will make you much better at Gungeon.ĭodonpachi Dai Ou Jou is a good one, if you're willing to emulate. Learn to see the safe spots in bullet patterns. Credit feed through it once to see it all (use continues) and then just try to get far as you can on one (or maybe 3? But limit yourself) credits. ![]() Find an actual bullet hell game you think you'll like (do some research, Cave games are all great, Jamestown on steam is good, Psikyo games are probably most like Gungeon from a bullet pattern perspective, there's a lot to choose from though, watch a few videos).
